-Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a 2024 role-playing video game developed by Rabbit and Bear Studios and published by 505 Games. It was led by Yoshitaka Murayama, creator of Konami's Suikoden series, and has been cited as a spiritual successor.

The development of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes was led by Yoshitaka Murayama, the creator of the Suikoden video game series by Konami. Murayama had directed Suikoden and Suikoden II during his time at Konami, but left the company in 2002 shortly before the release of Suikoden III.
The fundraising campaign for the Eiyuden Chronicle project was conducted through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The campaign exceeded all of the original stretch goals and met its base funding requirements after surpassing $500,000 within 3 to 4 hours on July 27, 2020. It ultimately raised $4,541,481 with 46,307 backers, making it the third highest funded video game in Kickstarter history behind Shenmue III and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Hundred Heroes was featured at E3 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and was originally slated to be released worldwide in October 2022 before being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The game was then set for a 2023 release, but was delayed to 2024. It was later confirmed to release on April 23, during their presentation on the September 2023 Nintendo Direct. A prologue, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, was released for the same platforms in May 2022.

Story :
-Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.
By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as "rune-lenses," the land's history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.
The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses' magic.
Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further.
It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.
Characters :
-Nowa (1)
The protagonist of the story and a new member of the Eltisweiss Watch. Bright eyed and kind hearted, he is known for meddling in other people's problems solely because he wants to help.
-Garr (2)
A veteran member of the Watch and a former mercenary, he and Sabine have known each other for years and he is the Captain of Nowa's party in the Watch.
-Lian (3)
Nowa's Senpai in the Watch (by 2 days) a hyperactive girl who fights with her fists. She looks up to Mio as an older sister and cares for Nowa as a fellow newbie.
-Mio (4)
A wandering swordswoman from the east, she wields a katana and for the time being is a member of the Watch. She acts as the older sister of the group, usually reigning in Lian's antics.
-Francesca (5)
A kind hearted healer always trying to do her best to keep her friends and allies safe....... that being said when she gets mad she is a VERY different person.
-Kuroto (6)
A local hunter known for his skill and kindhearted nature.
-Iugo (7)
A wandering Samurai from the east, he likes to drink and kick back but is a force to be reckoned with. He is a returning character from Rising.
-Mellore (8)
A self proclaimed Magical girl, she always on the hunt to stop the forces of evil like the heroines of her favorite books. A returning character from Rising.
-Yusuke (9)
A reformed delinquent and ex member of a biker??? gang, despite his looks he has a heart of gold and cares for his allies.
-Yume (10)
A 6 year old girl who befriends a strange beast who she rides around, the beast in question is referred to simply as Friend.
-Gigina (11)
A young beastman aiming to become like the legendary stone lion he admires.
-Sabine (12)
A mercenary in Perrielle and the Watch's employ, has a history Dalton and an old friend of Garr's. She is quick and to the point and terrifying with a sword.
-Ymir (13)
The Watch's ever vigilant Administrator, handling most of the paper work and logistics that go into running the organization. He is Sumire's adoptive father and Perrielle's loyal subordinate.
-Sumire (14)
A young elf girl and one of the main helpers at the Watch's HQ, she keeps an eye on storage and other important clerical work to ensure everyone is well prepared. She is also Ymir's adopted daughter.
-Cassandra (15)
An enchanting elf woman, long lived and mysterious she is the proprietress of the Hero's den Inn.
-Kogen (16)
A war orphan turned bandit, he lead's the Kogen gang pulling off small time banditry while dreaming of fortune.
-Yuthus (17)
A war orphan turned bandit, he is Kogen's most loyal and hot blooded follower, no matter the attack he will shield his comrades with his very being.
-Zabi (18)
A war orphan turned bandit, he has a sinister way about him but is more often than not harmless. Despite his cowardly words he doesn't hesitate to aid his 2 close friends.
-Gocteau (19)
A well known merchant, he has his hands in various industries and if something smells like money he will come running. Despite his words, actions and face, he is fiercely loyal and trustworthy to his business partners and those beneath him.
-Iris (20)
A wise and beautiful architect capable of drafting plans to fully rebuild entire castles. She is also an excellent tactician when the moment calls for it.
-Caine (21)
A man who doesn't stand out but who is practically the backbone of any organization he joins, he is a man most well equipped to deal with warehouse work and storage of equipment and items.
-Martha (22)
Though not related by blood after their father's passing Martha took it upon herself to look after Nowa and Leene until they were old enough to fend for themselves. Kind and mortherly she is always there to help when needed.
-Wyler (23)
Wyler is Marin's older brother and an extrmely capable hunter. However his hunting prowess is only surpassed by his concern (and overprotectiveness) of his sister. He is also Kuroto's former student.
-Marin (24)
Wyler's younger sister. Beautiful and kind to everyone, Marin is especially talented at collecting herbs and food off the land, a skill she learnt to help her brother.
-Kerrin (25)
A lumberjack who lives out in the Dappled Forest. Despite being a woman she has enough muscle to put most men to shame, which is perfect for lumberjacking.
-Ormund (26)
A dwarf with a passion for mining, and an eye for ore. That being said he has no sense of patience despite it being a requirement of his trade.
-Hiro (27)
A wandering Merchant always in the right place at the right time. Though his stock takes time to develop, he will never let you down, truly the HIRO you need.
-Galdorf (28)
A young dwarven warrior itching for battle and to prove himself, having left the city of Dwarves for the outside.
-Falward (29)
A sharp tongued healer and doctor, despite his rude way of speaking and harsh word he is the kindest person you will meet, just don't tell him that or he'll go full tsundere.
-Frida (30)
An armor merchant who is into fasion and is always on the hunt for the most fashionable armor she can find. A returning character from Rising.
-Dr. Corque (31)
A Beigoma professor, a passionate spinadier and researcher always searching for the secrets behind Beigoma (See Prof Oak from Pokemon and then add Beyblade)
-Gieran (32)
A "failed" mage, who despite his passion and intellect lacks the magic reserves to use magic effectively, yet through research and dedication has found ways around his failings to become as good as any other mage.

A young treefolk from the treefolk village, he comes to the Alliance seeking help when strangers appear in his village.

An enigmatic man who appears to Nowa one day giving him a medal, claiming to be a member of the Achievement Society.

A young man with a Rune lens embedded into his arm, he claims it often aches usually in response to some stimuli, odd and dramatic he is an odd one.

A local farmer from Werne village, with a love and passion for farming he detests war for the harm it often brings to farmland.
-Glen (37)
A man who lives and dies by card games. That is all you need to know about him and all that is. ITS TIME TO DDDDDUEL!

Despite her large body and fierce strength, her passions lie not in battles with fists and weapons but of battles of the mind and the heard.........that is to say CARD GAMES!

A former appraiser turned accessory shop owner, and as his face may imply HE LOVES SHINY THINGS. A returning character from Rising.

The so called Love trap hunter, he is an expert trap maker and thus an expert hunter. Despite his enigmatic behavior he doesn't mean much hard and often tries to help others......though it doesn't go well.

A shy bookworm at heart she has a passion for reading and researching be it archaeology or lenses.
-Hakugin (42)
A veteran kunoichi know for her speed, skill and lethal efficiency, these days she is pretty inactive, that is until her rival Mio becomes involved.

A mysterious and shy bag maker hiding in a large bag, is always willing to lend his bag making help to those who need it.
-Carrie (44)
An enigmatic girl with the ability to teleport, however despite her insistence that she never fails and is perfect, she almost ways fumbles her teleporting in some way.

An old warrior with a spear and an old acquaintance of Lam's. In his younger years he was a fierce warrior and troublemaker.
-B'baba (46)
A mysterious fortune teller whose fortunes are 100% accurate, usually she only helps others when the mood strikes her but these days she has chosen to aid the alliance in filling their ranks.

A young thief who starts ransacking the Alliance's food supply before being caught thanks to help from B'baba
-Huang (48)
A calm and cool angler he is unbothered by most things especially trivial things and is more about enjoying everyday as they come.
-Kurtz (49)
A chef with a dark past and on a quest to further his skills to defeat the evil syndicate responsible for his master's death.
-Celia (50)
Kurtz's wife and fellow chef, her skills are on par if not greater than his own. However they were separated after a tragedy in the past.
-Lam (51)
An old master martial artist whose skills and breathing technique even allow her to assume her old youthful form. She has known Riufan for years.
-Perrielle (52)
The countess in charge of Grum, despite her young age she is able to run her small country with extreme competence. Beneath her bright outside and elegant behaviour she has a much darker personality.
-Janquis (53)
Perrielle's loyal butler always there to aid her when necessary, though he is often troubled by her reckless behavior.

A Rune lens maniac who lives to see new runes and to research them as much as he can L stands for Lens (I think).

A lazy man who also happens to be an advisor to Euma the emperor of Eucrisse despite his attitude he is known for being quite the schemer.
-Barnard (56)
The leader of the Sawud mercenaries. His creed is that no matter what he and his men will never break a contract.
-Seign (57)
A young Liutenant of the Empire, he aims to bring his family glory by taking his deceased brother's place and earning prestige, however the actions of Aldric make him question his choices.
-Pohl (58)
An engineer and a part of Seign's group. He admires lens technology and is particularly taken with the magic tank in his unit, who he nicknames Sylvie.
-Valentin (59)
A member of Seign's unit, a former member of the intelligence division of the empire army, he is shrewd and polite but can be a flirt when it comes to women.
-Hildi (60)
A member of Seign's group and his right hand woman, she constantly worries over Seign due to his being forced to do Aldric's dirty work but follows him regardless.
-Milana (61)
An enigmatic necromancers who joins up with Nowa ignoring his input entirely, she is pursuing a specific undead and will not stop until she has him in her thrall.
-Enoe (62)
A young Guild deputy, and one of Gocteau's former employees. He has known Fume and Larla all his life.
-Fume (63)
A hotblooded young man and a fan of Gocteau's he learnt most of his guild knowledge on his own.
-Larla (64)
A lazy woman by nature, yet a free soul, with a knack for trouble and finding treasure somehow.
-Douglas (65)
An old hand at the smithy trade, he is loud and harsh but a master of his craft, a man who creates weapons not to hurt or kill but to defend.

The acting mayor of New Neveah, she is a crafty yet charismatic young woman who won't hesitate at overcharging someone for a service in the name of revitalizing her town. One of the 3 protagonists of Rising.

A young woman with a passion for healthy living and healthy running, seriously she is fast, she can outrun an eggfoot thats how fast she is.

An overly dramatic noble who lives and dies by Noblesse Oblige, that is the idea nobles have an obligation to those beneath them. He has known Perrielle since she was young.

A boy who admires clockworks, in particular pocket watches, he wishes to be a clock maker one but for now has found work as an appraiser.

A dwarf woman with eye for gold and a keen engineer and marksman with hard cannon.

A former knight, turned dark knight her unstoppable defenses are matched only in her pride in herself. She demands to be called Reyna-san.

A former soldier and drill sargeant who trains his men so that rather than defeat the enemy they can all come home alive together instead.

He REALLY likes baths, so he opens up a hotspring.

A treasure hunter on the hunt for rare raw lenses, though often reluctant to work with others due to not wanting to share loot she can be made to do so if the treasure and threat are big enough.

The chief and shoalmaster of the Shi'arcs, he LOVES going to war for glory and like most of his kind is deathly afraid of water.
-Yufferius (79)
A passionate shi'arc warrior who looks a lot like he came out of a shark movie. He is also a skilled Shark racing coach.

An old friend of Barnard's and and a skilled sharkraft racer, almost no one can beat her times on those courses until of course..........
-Yaelu (81)
A shy young girl from a village up north, her people were captured by the empire and experimented on but she escapes alongside Ivy and meets up with Seign.

A former empire engineer, she was disgusted by the experiments committed by the empire and fled with Yaelu, before meeting up with Seign.

An expert quarryman, despite being old and grouchy he has decades of knowledge and skill. Currently though he wants to work as a guild deputy though they are similar in nature.

A passionate young man who believes that art must be explosive, always crafting bizaare art nothing can stifle his immense creativity or loud voice.
-Clarke (85)
A former theater member, who wishes to open his own theater but yearns for inspiration to put on a truly inspiring performance.

Nowa's friend and rival when it comes to everything Beigoma, he relies on calculations to win his matches, he wants revenge on Crash for destroying his Beigoma but also enjoys battling Nowa whenever they meet.

Yaelu's younger brother, let himself get caught so Yaelu and Ivy could escape, before he is brought before Aldric.

A young guardian hailing from Yarnaan, she cares deeply for her friends and found family in the guardians. She similar to Nowa can't help but want to help other........they both also have trouble when Leene is around.

One of the 3 protagonists of Rising. He is a mercenary who is currently helping out the Guardians, he dotes on his daughter Allaby but worries about her crush on Wayve.

Despite his large body and Steeryn heritage he is a poet with a love of words and the arts.

An elf and friend of Marisa, ever friendly and likable. He and Lilwyn have something going but there is friction.

A mysterious robotic girl Marisa met in the Runebarrows.
-Rohan (98)
A kind hearted doctor. He has a big body but is a gentle soul he is a former soldier but despises seeing those he saves go back out to die.
-Hogan (99)
A lizard man merchant, one has built himself back up from zero with only his wits and sunny disposition. A returning character from Rising.
-Rudy (100)
A young man from the village of Skyriss who joins Nowa and co. on a mission to save kids from his village lost in a monster den.
-Lilwyn (101)
Alwe's childhood friend and love interest, she has a warm and welcoming personality, but has a teasing side shown only to Alwe. Currently in the middle of a love triangle with Alwe and his brother Lakian.
-Foxiel (102)
A traveling fox lady and expert spearswoman capable of handling any threat she may encounter. She pauses her search for a marriage partner to search for a dish from her childhood to inspire her culinary pursuits.

An old guardian who doesn't stay in Yarnaan but can be found meditating or training in various Runebarrows across the world, his skill with a blade surpasses that of many present Guardians.

A young archer from the east. She is the daughter of an old friend of Iugo's and as such admires him greatly. She chases him all the way to the alliance demanding to be his student.
-Momo (105)
An ancient mage who has not only extended his life and maintained his youth, he has also aimed to become the most cute thing imaginable, which to him is apparently a magical girl.
-Euma (106)
The young king of Eucrisse, unlike his childhood friend Perrielle he isn't able to make strong decisions and fight off the arguments by his retainers, he is often compared to by others as a weak king, however the threat of the empire may just be what he needs to grow.
-Kassius (107)
Head of Eucrisse's military and a man loyal to the king despite his shortcomings. He is an intellgent military strategist and a powerful warrior.
-Wayve (108)
Current leader of the Guardians and the "Older Brother" to most of the younger members including Marisa. He often claims to be Cool and in control.
-El Alicanto (109)
An enigmatic wrestler and fighter who randomly challenges Nowa to a duel.
-Yulin (110)
Euma's maid and servant, though soft spoken she cares deeply for Euma and grow angry whenever he is insulted. As an aside, she gives your party double experience when used a support!
-Allaby (111)
Garoo's daughter. She has been sickly for a long time and finding a cure for her is one Garoo and CJ's main goals. A returning character from Rising
-Djikstra (112)
Despite his appearance he isn't a fighter or barbarian, no he is a musician and a rocker! Furthermore he is a lover of Rune lens research and admires people like Code L and Pohl.
-Markus (113)
The so called Undead King. Not much is known of his past, he appears in Yarnaan demanding the guardians submit to his thrall, only for another Undead lord to lay siege to it instead.
-Lakian (114)
Alwe's older brother. The two are not on good terms and punches may have been thrown, the cause of the strife seems to be their mutual affection for Lilwyn.
-Goldwyn (115)
One of the empire's famed and most powerful generals. Unlike Chapell who is putty in Aldric's hands, Goldwyn only serves the crown.
-Elektra (116)
The general Athrabalt Military, she was once a commoner who King Sallas took in and helped her rise to who she is today strong, kind and incredibly capable her only weakness is apparently romance.
-Maxim (117)
General Elektra's right hand man. He doesn't hide the fact he is head over heels for her, though he is also pretty flirty with most women he meets and can even remember those he met a long while back.
-Vorrdice (118)
A general in the Kenanean army, unlike his king who prioritizes gains over honor, Vorrdice is a dragonewt of honor.
-Viesskin (119)
Viesskin, Vordice's direct subordinate, a rare one horned dragon newt but a good guy, he gets along with Allaby.
-Leene (120)
Nowa's younger sister and the self proclaimed "Number one Lucky girl loved by Runes". True to this title, no matter what situation she finds herself in she SOMEHOW comes out on top. Can only be recruited by recruiting the other 119 characters.
