Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is a HD remastered collection of the Kingdom Hearts series, developed by Square Enix originally for the PlayStation 3. It was revealed in September 2012 and released in Japan in March 2013, and North America, Australia and Europe in September 2013.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix includes both Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Re:Chain of Memories in high-definition and with Trophy support. Additionally, the collection features a cinematic remake of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, including high-definition cutscenes from the original game plus new scenes; the 358/2 Days cinematic also has Trophy support. Ideas for a remastered collection of Kingdom Hearts games were first revealed in August 2011, with the collection formally announced in September 2012. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, in addition to being created from the ground up due to lost assets from the original game, had the most adjustments made to its gameplay, including adding Reaction Commands first introduced in Kingdom Hearts II and allowing the camera to be moved with the right thumb stick.
The collection was met to generally favorable reviews. A second collection, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, was released in 2014 while a third collection, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, was released in 2017. 1.5 Remix was released in a single, combined collection with 2.5 Remix on the PlayStation 4 in March 2017, on the Xbox One in February 2020 and on Microsoft Windows in March 2021.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is an HD remastered collection of three games in Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts series: Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep, and Re:coded. A successor to the series' HD 1.5 Remix collection, it was released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan in October 2014, and internationally two months later.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix includes Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix in high definition and with trophy support. Additionally, the collection features a cinematic remake of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded that features remastered cutscenes from the original game as well as new content. A third collection, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, was released in 2017. 2.5 Remix was re-released along with 1.5 Remix on the PlayStation 4 in March 2017, on the Xbox One in February 2020, and for Microsoft Windows in March 2021.

The Destiny Islands are a beautiful paradise where children's laughter abounds. Day after day, Sora, Riku, and Kairi talk and dream of new places, new worlds beyond their islands. They ponder the usual questions that adolescents do - about the world outside, about their own existence.

Little do they know a great destiny awaits them. One stormy night, a terrible darkness invades Destiny Islands. Thus does their journey begin... Sora awakens in another world in a place called Traverse Town.

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics) :

Follow Roxas, the "other" hero from KINGDOM HEARTS II, and discover more about his days as a member of the mysterious Organization XIII. What is the connection between Roxas and Sora? Who is the mysterious 14th member, and what were the reasons for her eventual departure from the Organization?

KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories :

On the night his island is besieged by a mysterious storm, Sora is whisked away to an unfamiliar burg known as Traverse Town. There he meets Donald and Goofy and learns of the world's strange happenings. Donald and Goofy set off to look for their missing King, and Sora joins them to search for his lost friends Riku and Kairi.

After a long journey that takes them across numerous worlds, Sora and friends find Riku and the King at last. But to save all worlds, Sora must use his Keyblade to close the door to darkness, even though Riku and the King are on the other side.

Believing the King's parting words - that there will always be a door to the light - Sora locks the door and he along with Donald and Goofy set out on a new journey.

KINGDOM HEARTS II Final Mix :

Autumn inches closer in Twilight Town, and Roxas wants nothing more than the last days of his summer vacation to be the best. Instead, the boy watches the world he knows unravel, as curious monsters and men cloaked in black tarnish his fun-filled days. By the time he understands the truth, there is no escaping it: his summer vacation must come to an end.

Rising to take Roxas's place is Sora. He, Donald, and Goofy wake from their slumber and prepare for the journey ahead. They must face Organization XIII, protect the Keyblade's power, and resume their search for the special people they have lost. The final battle against the Organization is about to unfold...

Sora's journey in KINGDOM HEARTS II has drawn to a close, and now a new tale is set to begin. Jiminy Cricket is looking over the journal he used to document his first adventure with Sora when he discovers a mysterious message. He didn't write it - so how on earth did it get there? King Mickey is determined to find out, so he and his friends decide to digitize the journal and delve into its deepest secrets.

Inside this "datascape" dwells a second Sora who is about to embark on a grand adventure of his very own.
